John Tagariello

Hello, I am the current Lab Manager of the Sekaquaptewa Lab. I graduated from Skidmore College in 2022 — with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Biology — where I worked with Dr. Corinne Moss-Racusin, Dr. Leigh Wilton, and Dr. Sheldon Solomon. As lab manager, I am working on research understanding the effects of witnessing subtle gender bias in STEM settings and the effects of having it labeled as bias. I am broadly interested in social perception of identity, and how attitudes an narratives shape our existence. Outside of research I love reading for fun, playing piano, and doing random arts and crafts.
