I am passionate about science outreach and increasing the accessibility of science to students from underrepresented groups.
In February 2026, I developed an activity to teach local 6th-8th grade students how we study wild animal behavior as part of an outreach event with the University of Michigan's Women+ Excelling More in Math, Engineering and the Sciences organization.
Dantzer Lab undergraduates teaching local middle school students why spatial memory is important for squirrels and how we quantify spatial memory in wild squirrels.
