I'm Brendan Taylor, a senior at the University of Michigan-Flint, pursuing a degree in Information Technology and Informatics. I have a deep passion for technology and its potential to drive meaningful improvements in the world around us. I thrive on problem-solving and take pride in developing practical, user-friendly solutions. Participating in this research project has allowed me to apply my skills to real-world challenges, creating tangible change that positively impacts people's lives.
I am an occupational therapy student at the University of Michigan- Flint. When I graduate in August 2026, I am hoping to pursue a career in a pediatric or neuro setting. I am currently a member of The Student Occupational Therapy Association where I hold the position of managing the social media Instagram account. In the summer of 2024, I was able to volunteer my time and help adapt electric cars for children with disabilities. This project utilized both occupational therapy students and innovation and technology students to help enhance the lives of kids with disabilities by creating opportunities of social, environmental, and community engagement.
