If the rehearsal is for a PAT class or PAT-approved project, yes. If you don't know if you are PAT-approved, you are probably not. Keep in mind that someone in your group must have a certification in the space you want to use to rehearse.

Terms and Conditions

The pin code messaging system is provided as an alternative to email to receive pin codes to unlock physical equipment in the Tech Suite. These pin codes are frequently rotated and hence this service will always provide you with the most up-to-date pin as well as log your usage of the equipment in our internal database. Your information is not distributed to any third parties and only viewable by Tech Suite administrators. 

Register / Opt-in

This service is opt-in only and requires a mobile phone with SMS support. To opt in...

1. Send SMS message "register" to the pin code service phone number

2. You will be prompted to send your UofM uniqname

3. A confirmation email will be sent to the UofM email attached to that uniqname, where you must have access to the email to confirm your opt-in via a link

Unregister / Opt-out

Simply text STOP to the pin code service phone number. You will receive a confirmation message. You will need to complete the registration process again to opt back in.
