In this session, attendees will learn state-of-the-art methods for shipwreck detection and segmentation. The session schedule is below:
12:30 - 12:45: Welcome remarks
12:45 - 1:15: Speaker 1 (Dr. Katherine Skinner) on Shipwreck Detection in the Great Lakes
1:15 - 1:30: Speaker 2 (Anja Sheppard) on the Development of the Open Source ShipwreckFinder Toolkit
1:30 - 2:30: Interactive workshop on using the QGIS ShipwreckFinder tool
In order to participate in the interactive workshop, please come to the session with a laptop that has an installation of QGIS. Instructions for installation are here: https://qgis.org/download/. We will have a limited quantity of laptops with the tool installed for those who do not have a laptop.
