Our funders are vital partners for our work. They support our educational mission recognizing that copyright knowledge is critical to the success of the projects they support in a multitude of museums, libraries, and archives globally. 

We founded Ocean based on research supported by the LYRASIS Catalyst Fund and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. 

This project the result of cooperative work. Some of us contribute our time. Others have the generous support of their employers who recognize the relevance of this initiative to their own organizations.  We bring together the Library Copyright Institute, Copyright First Responders, Miami University of Ohio Copyright Conference and other programs in a network of support and education for the cultural heritage community. We are grateful for their commitment to this initiative.
