NSBP WHMC and the Community of Physicists for Inclusion and Equity (CoPhIE) members got together to honor black scientists and engineers who inspired and paved the way for future academics and professionals. NSBP WHMC presented a snippet of history about the contributions and achievements of black people in STEM. CoPhIE hosted and organized the event, facilitating great discussion and donated a book to the advocacy lending library to memorialize our first collaboration!

NSBP members and guests got together to watch "The Man From Planet X" a 1951 SciFi cult classic full of unintentional hilarity. With hot chocolate, insomnia cookies, and popcorn, it was a cozy night in West Hall.

NBSP hosted an etiquette dinner workshop with MSI (Minority Serving Institutions) Connect. Keith Soster of Michigan Dining guided us through our dinner with hands-on education about dinner etiquette and professional networking practices.
