"Nothing" is a powerful word. It's an absolute, a complete and total lack of anything. An absence. Total emptiness. It's a concept, and a frightening one at that. 

But that's not all it is.

"Nothing" is a soft lie from a mother to her son. "Nothing" is a word of comfort between best friends during trying times. "Nothing" is the unintentional natural, an absolute made into a simple figure of speech. "Nothing" has a thousand meanings.

This is a journey to reflect on these meanings. This is my life, and just some of the ways "nothing" has played a part within it.
