In the No Strings illustrations, which uses of the money did you relate to the most? Why?

I relate most to the person who made an afghan for their sibling. I too have a sibling who's in recovery from drug addiction, and I know every milestone you get to celebrate with them after they're clean is extra sweet. I'm so glad the guaranteed income allowed this person to contribute to their sibling's milestone of moving into a new apartment.

Which uses of the money – if any – drew the most skepticism from you? Why do you think that is?

Do you think no-strings-attached cash should complement programs like vouchers and food stamps that restrict how benefits can be used? Why or why not?

Of course, I feel no-strings cash would complement low-income programs for recipients. I also think no-strings cash would benefit people in low-income brackets who are not receiving vouchers and food stamps.

People have miscellaneous expenses (like) furniture, transportation, utilities that are not covered by food stamps or housing choice vouchers. It makes (more) sense to have a flexible program than to have to apply for every kind of benefit.

(Guaranteed income) slaps in the face of every struggling taxpayer trying to pay their own bills and live. Senior citizens are struggling more every day. They should be the ones helped.
