We promoted the event through our social media platforms and our email newsletter on April 3rd, 2025, giving members ample time to register and allowing chapters to share the information with their own members. Although the event was primarily geared toward NAAMA NextGen members, I opened registration to the broader public to increase accessibility and allow other interested individuals to join.
Attendees registered using the built-in Zoom registration form, which automatically emailed them the event link upon submission. I also included a section in the form where participants could submit questions for the speakers in advance. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of thoughtful questions we received (keep scrolling to view these questions!)
For the promotional materials, I used the tried-and-true Canva platform, which offered a wide range of templates. I aimed to create a clean, professional design that incorporated NAAMA NextGen’s signature colors. I also designed bio pages so attendees could learn more about the speakers in advance—both of whom are incredibly inspiring and accomplished.
