The Music Cognition & Computation Lab (MCCL) examines the perception and cognition of musical traditions across the globe using behavioral, computational, and psychophysiological methods.
We focus primarily on topics like learning and memory, the formation of expectations, structural and semantic processing, and emotion and empirical aesthetics.
The MCCL is housed in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance at the University of Michigan in beautiful Ann Arbor, Michigan.
