Disability Advocacy Coalition of Health Professions (DAC HP)
DAC HP's mission is to create a culture of disability in medicine at the University of Michigan and beyond that is:
Inclusive in teaching how to be a culturally competent provider for patients with different types of disabilities
Informative in communicating how trainees can be involved in combating ableism in medicine and medical education
Supportive of existing providers and future providers in medicine with disability

The Mission of the University of Michigan Center for Disability Health and Wellness (U-M CDHW) is to develop and apply innovative research, clinical, and educational strategies to address inequities in healthcare access, quality, and outcomes experienced by individuals with physical, sensory and developmental disabilities across the lifespan.

NATIONAL AFFILIATION
Medical Students with Disability and Chronic Illness (MSDCI) National
Medical Students with Disability and Chronic Illness unites and empowers medical students through advocacy, mentorship, education and community building while using our collective power towards advancing the improvement of health care for the disabled community. We are dedicated to raising awareness of chronic illness and disabilities amongst medical trainees and professionals and addressing the stigma associated with practicing medicine while having a chronic illness or disability.
