Our lab focuses on health effects of various environmental pollutants and their mixtures using epidemiologic approaches. We use not only conventional approaches of ‘biology-based and hypothesis-driven’ single pollutant models but emerging novel approaches of multi-pollutant/mixture models. We evaluate our research questions in the Study of Women's Health Across the Nation - Multi-Pollutant Study (SWAN-MPS), the Normative Aging Study (NAS), and the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES).
