Welcome to the research hub for Alison Mondul, PhD, MPH and Celeste Leigh Pearce, PhD, MPH. Alison’s group focuses on prostate and head and neck cancers, the role of statin medications in cancer incidence and outcomes, and using metabolomic profiling to study cancer etiology and progression. Leigh’s group is focuses on women’s cancers, the role of life purpose in shaping health, and health disparities in the Arab-American population. Both Alison and Leigh are faculty members in the University of Michigan School of Public Health Department of Epidemiology and members of the Cancer Epidemiology and Prevention Program of the Rogel Cancer Center. They are actively engaged in training students at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels.
