Like the Alma, this competition is conferred regionally but to is specific to Michigan undergraduates. Problem types are often similar to those on the Alma, and there are ten of them. It is also taken by teams of three for three hours. Being able to determine what kind of questions are being asked and prioritizing those is important, but equally important is getting partial credit when under time constraints. The LMMC is hosted on one selected campus each year.
