Introduction

Hi, my name is Ricardo and I am a senior in Information Science at UMSI. At UMSI, I explore and solve challenging problems at the intersection of people, information, and technology. I create my own unique pathway in Human-Centered Social Media Analytics because I want to combine both User Experience and Social Media Analysis.

I skipped high school and graduated with 3 degrees when I was 17. I won first prize in many international arithmetic competitions on China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines. On the other hand, I won a singing competition from 37,000+ contestants. I mentored several Hackathons and successfully helped participants create a working prototype.

I am passionate about creating and developing products to improve user experience. Furthermore, I am interested in analyzing a complex information issue with computational thinking skills. I am skilled in Python, Java, C/C++, R, VB, HTML, and CSS. I speak multiple languages in Indonesian, English, and Chinese. Last but not least, I learn applying making skills to solve complex problems by creating physical prototypes using a variety of maker tools.
