This conference is part of the Michigan Program for Advancing Cultural Transformation (M-PACT) aimed to achieve greater inclusive excellence in the biomedical and health sciences at the University of Michigan and beyond. This year our goal is to support aspiring faculty as they navigate an increasingly challenging academic landscape and encourage pursuit of the professoriate despite these difficult times. 

Conference participants are invited for their demonstrated track-record of promoting diversity, equity and inclusion within their field of study through their own research, teaching/mentoring and/or service activities.

Identified as the next generation of faculty leaders, conference participants will have an opportunity to make connections with University of Michigan faculty and academic leaders and partake in sessions to better understand the benefits and rewards of an academic career. 

If traveling outside of the Ann Arbor, MI area, travel and lodging expenses will be covered for conference participants.
