Research Scientist + Mechanical Engineer

Specializing in Biomedical Signal Processing, Machine Learning, and Wearable Health Technology

I am a research scientist and mechanical engineer driven by the intersection of engineering, physiological data, and healthcare. My doctoral research focused on developing and evaluating machine learning and signal processing algorithms for continuous fetal movement detection using wearable inertial sensors. I have experience cleaning and analyzing biological signals, developing data-driven algorithms in Python and R, and translating complex physiological data into actionable insights and product-oriented solutions.

With clinical training through an NIH T32 program and global health experience in India and Kenya, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to developing technologies that address real-world healthcare needs.
