Language Resource Center

The Main Center of the Language Resource Center is located at 1500 North Quad. Our space is open to everyone in the University of Michigan community, and offers: Mac and PC computer workstations, two computer classrooms and a media lab, a copier/scanner and a color printer, 4 private alcoves for office hours or studying, a group meeting space for presentations or film screenings, lounge areas, and a collaborative lobby space. 

The Main Center houses a small, but rich, collection of materials encompassing the linguistic and cultural diversity of our campus. Our collection includes the following that support the language learning and instruction of the world languages taught at U-M and beyond:

Over 3500 films from across the globe, 

Over 4000 books, graphic novels, and manga,

Over 200 self-study language kits, 

and over 60 card and board games
