The English Language Institute (ELI) offers a wide range of services for international students and other speakers of English as an additional language. Services available to undergraduate students include:

Mini-Courses  - A one credit courses focusing on spoken and written communication skills.

Workshops - Interactive workshops about specific English writing and speaking skills undergraduate students need to succeed in their courses and prepare for their professional careers.

Speaking and Writing Studios - One-on-one speaking and writing help for international undergraduate students.

Going Blue - An online pre-arrival course for newly admitted undergraduate international students. This course prepares you to succeed at U-M by introducing you to campus life and culture.
