I am a senior fellow at the University of Michigan Duderstadt Center's Digital Media Commons. Working mostly in the Fabrication Lab, I am trained to help students and staff use all the fabrication resources there. I maintain our equipment such as the 3D printers, CNC machines, 3D scanner, laser engraver, electronics workbench, and woodworking station. I also help run the University of Michigan's 3D Printing Service for Research. In the Summer of 2024, I helped build our instructional support fleet of Prusa printers, and I wrote the student guide below.
The fabrication lab hosts 10 Prusa MK4 printers for University of Michigan classes to use in their curriculum. I assembled two of the printers and developed our own user guide.
