Events

Between 2025 and 2026, we organized several discussion events as part of the workshop and lecture series Latin America in Perspective, hosted by the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and other sponsors such as the College of Literature, Science and the Arts, the Rackham Graduate School, the International Institute, and the Institute for the Humanities.

We have also co-organized national and international scholarly visits housed at the Romance Languages and Literatures Department in collaboration with other academic units at the University of Michigan, including the History Department, the Comparative Literature Department, the Women's and Gender Studies Department, and the Institute for Research on Women and Gender.
