kTLog2:
Information and thermodynamics from quantum to biological systems

at the Parador de Cuenca (Cuenca, Spain)

Nonequilibrium thermodynamics has experienced a renaissance in the last 30 years with the advent of stochastic thermodynamics.  On the occasion of Juan Parrondo's 60th birthday, we are organzing a scientific meeting on the past and future of this field, focusing on three themes central to Juan's career:

The event will gather past and present collaborators of Juan Parrondo and researchers with a long-standing friendship who contributed to Juan's fruitful career in science and education.

Organizers: Jordan Horowitz (U. Michigan), Luis Dinis (U. Complutense), Massimiliano Esposito (U. Luxembourg), Edgar Roldan (ICTP)
