  • Sep-2024: I had the pleasure of participating as a judge in this year’s Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) 2024 Showcase. 

  • May-2024: I had the privilege of presenting our paper, "PyraMoT: A Novel Framework for Enhanced Facial Thermal Landmarks Detection," at the IEEE International Conference on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition (FG2024), held from May 27-31, 2024, at SDKM, ITU Campus, Istanbul, Türkiye.

  • Feb-2024:  Our paper, "PyraMoT: A Novel Framework for Enhanced Facial Thermal Landmarks Detection," got accepted at the IEEE International Conference on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition (FG2024)

  • May-2023:  I’m starting a new position as Data & Research Specialist at Barry County Chamber and Economic Development Alliance!

  • Apr-2023:  My poster submission, 'Multimodal Analysis for Accurate Classification of Human Circadian Rhythms," was awarded the Best in College Award in the 2023 Doctoral Student Poster Competition at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

  • Mar-2023:  I had the opportunity to participate in the 2023 Three Minute Thesis competition at UM-Dearborn, where I shared my thesis in a concise and informative manner. 

  • Nov-2022: My poster submission 'A Multimodal Approach to Human Circadian Rhythm Classification' was awarded the Innovative Use of Data award at the annual Data Science and AI Summit.

  • Oct-2022: Our paper "A Topological Approach for Facial Region Segmentation in Thermal Images " has been accepted and will be presented at the 2022 IEEE International Symposium on Multimedia (ISM) , in Naples . 

  •  Oct-2022: My abstract "A Multimodal Approach to Human Circadian Rhythm Classification" has been accepted for poster presentation at the 2022 U-M data science and AI Summit.

  • Sep-2022: My paper "Non-Contact Based Modeling of Enervation" has been accepted and will be presented at the 2023 IEEE International Conference on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition (FG), in Hawaii.

  • Sep-2022: I joined the DAIR student community. This opportunity will allow me to practice my PhD proposals or conference presentations and give tutorials and workshops. It is also an opportunity to connect with interested parties in the industry. 

  • Aug-2022: I became a mentor for UM-Dearborn. This opportunity allows me to guide graduate students in their first year by sharing my experience and knowledge.

  • Jul-2022: My paper titled "Non-Contact Based Modeling of Enervation" was submitted to the FG conference.

  • Feb-2022: Infrared Physics & Technology Certificate of Reviewing awarded to me after completing a peer-review.

  • Mar-2022: I became a PhD candidate after successfully passing the qualifying exam.
