Welcome to the companion website for the exhibit, “I have a crisis for you”: Women Artists of Ukraine Respond to War. This exhibit aims to showcase work created by women artists in response to Russia’s war in Ukraine. The involved artists are painters, photographers, filmmakers, poets, translators, and textile artists.

On this website you can learn more about the featured artists and their works and revisit this information after you have visited the exhibit. Supplemental texts, audio, and video media are available here.

Featured artists: Kinder Album, J.T. Blatty, Oksana Briukhovetska, Sonya Hukaylo, Oksana Kazmina, Lesia Kulchynska, Svetlana Lavochkina, Kateryna Lisovenko, and Lyuba Yakimchuk.

I have a crisis for you”: Women Artists of Ukraine Respond to War is currently on display in the 5th-floor Gallery of Weiser Hall, 500 Church St., Ann Arbor, MI. Building hours are M-F 7am-6pm. The exhibit runs 3 January 203 - 23 February 2023.
