Shakespeare in the Arb is celebrating its 19th year of production with a revival show of Twelfth Night on Sunday, September 1st at 5:30pm. The show is a “roaming play,” meaning that each scene occurs in a different location of Nichol’s Arboretum. The play is free with your student ID, so make sure to bring your Mcard, as well as blankets or chairs to sit on during the scenes! We will be leaving together from the South Quad Community Center at 4:45pm.
Grab your swimsuit and join Honors on Sunday, September 8th as we tube down the cascades of the Huron River! We will be meeting at the South Quad Community Center at 3pm and tickets will be available for $5 in the Honors Office. Spots are limited so be sure to register!
Join Honors for an exciting night of music with Snarky Puppy, the Brooklyn-based collective kicking off the UMS season. The music starts at 7pm on Sunday, September 8. We'll leave to Hill Auditorium from the SQuad Community Center at 6:30pm. Make sure to pay your $5 buy-in at the Honor's office! You don’t want to miss the most explosively funky mega-band around.
Honors is headed to Comerica Park to watch the Detroit Tigers face off with the Baltimore Orioles. The game is on Friday, September 13th (9/13/19). Plan to meet at the South Quad CC no later than 5:30 pm sharp! The buy-in is $10, but it's a steal for seats just above the dugout! Join Honors as we attend SheTown, a film festival that is focused on female-driven independent cinema in performances, stories and key filmmaking production positions. On Friday, September 13th, we will attend the Director's Panel, Taste of SheTown, and Friday the 13th Night of Thrillers! We'll meet at the SQuad CC at 5:30 and then bus to Detroit to enjoy the opening of the festival until 11 at which point we will return to Ann Arbor. Make sure to pay your $10 buy-in at the Honors office!
Join Honors for a trip to the Matthaei Botanical Gardens on Saturday, September 14th. We'll be touring the expansive gardens, conservatory, and nature trail. The Matthaei Botanical Garden is the center for rich and diverse nature-based experiences for the University of Michigan and its surrounding communities. They provide exceptionally beautiful gardens and natural areas for enjoyment. They are training a new generation of environmental leaders in sustainability, conservation and ecological restoration and engage research that deepens our understanding of plants, ecology, and the role of nature in our lives.

The show begins at 2:00 pm on 9/15, so meet us at the Community Center in South Quad at 1:30 pm. There is a $5 buy-in that should be brought to the Honors Office within three days of signing up. Join Honors for a day of (literal) ups and downs at Cedar Point on Sunday, September 29th! We'll be meeting at the South Quad CC at 8:30 AM and taking a bus to the theme park. After enjoying the rides, we'll be heading back to South Quad and should be home around 7 PM. Buy in is $10 and is due in the honors office!
Show off your skills and coordination in the first annual Honors Spikeball Tournament! Get a partner and Spike, set, and slam your way into the championship to win the title and year's worth of bragging rights! If you do not have a partner, we will try and pair singles or accommodate. The tourney is free and a referee will be provided for all you competitors out there. Meet us outside south quad at the bike racks on Sunday, September 29th at 2 pm sharp!
