City Design In nepal

Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, is one of the world’s most polluted cities. DW’s article, “Cities: 'When you design for cars, people get left out'” specifically highlights the issues around design, urbanization, lifestyle, and transportation that are culminating into the large-scale issues of public health and climate change in this city. Kathmandu is an example that extends around the world; City development and green design are emerging fields - and crucial ones at that.

2/3rds of the world’s population will be living in cities by 2050, and humans must adapt to new ways of approaching urban life. Different Articles approach the issue as to why Kathmandu is so polluted through a different focus.
