The Frankel Cardiovascular Center's Clinical Research Coordinator Advancement program (RCAP) is a two year program designed to develop the clinical research professional pipeline by equipping individuals with comprehensive hands-on research experience, instructional learning, and accreditation training. Upon completion of the program, research assistants will be eligible for accelerated progression through the CRC career ladder and SOCRA/ACRP certification.

Advanced clinical research experience supporting multiple research projects at Michigan Medicine
Experiential learning covering clinical research workflow, project management, drug and medical device trials, and regulatory compliance under ICH, GCP, and FDA guidelines
Eligibility for two promotions within the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) career ladder during the program
Attendance at two conferences or symposiums are covered by the program
SOCRA/ACRP accreditation expenses are covered by the program
