Sound Engineering, B.S, University of Michigan
Advanced Psychoacoustics, Engineering Acoustics, Critical Listening
Immersive Audio Research Co-op @ Bose
Utilized spherical microphone array processing techniques to encode measurements to Higher Order Ambisonics (HOA) and decoded these measurements to a binaural format for listening. Designed and executed a psychoacoustic study which evaluated the robustness of spatial audio algorithms to different listening environments. Developed HRTF estimation algorithms for large datasets.
Skills -> Spherical Array Processing, Matlab & Simulink, Digital Signal Processing
Acoustics Intern @ Black & Veatch
Employed acoustic modeling techniques in Cadna/A to predict noise emissions and vibrations from power stations, dams, and construction sites. Created mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
Skills -> Acoustic Measurement, Cadna/A, Excel
Technology Suite Assistant @ University of Michigan
Dante networking, optimized spaces for graduate student and faculty research in acoustics, immersive audio, and cognition.
Skills -> Ambisonics, Dante Networking, MaxMsp
