The College of Innovation & Technology at the University of Michigan-Flint is hosting COMO 2025. The Murchie Science Building expansion wing was completed in 2021, and features 61,000 sq. ft. of collaborative spaces, flexible classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, and student-centered design spaces.
Guest parking is available in the Mill Street Parking ramp and the Harrison Street parking ramp. Follow the signs for guest parking. Parking passes are not needed for guest parking in the ramps. If desired, you may request a day pass for parking in any of the UM-Flint open parking lots. Email: laurelmi@umich.edu
Feel like staying over and catching some local Flint flavor?
One of Michigan's finest. The Flint Farmer's Market is a year round public market with over 50 vendors featuring several produce vendors, a great meat market, poultry, breads and baked goods, cheese, a wine shop, an art gallery, a café, middle-eastern and Mexican groceries and many unique gifts. Open year-round on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Like to bike? Flint City Bike Tours will run Saturday the 27th at 3pm. Enjoy having your own personal guide to explore Flint on two wheels and see the real Flint for yourself. Our bike tours take no more than 10 people and are completely customizable based on your interests, timeline, and desire for breaks for photos or food/drink along the way. The tour routes are designed to showcase Flint’s assets and give you an idea of some of the intangible components of the local culture, while also offering honest answers to any tough questions you might have.
The Flint Institute of Arts is the second largest art museum in Michigan, offering exhibitions, interpretive programs, film screenings, concerts, lectures, family events and educational outreach programs to people of various ages, serving over 160,000 adults and children a year. In addition to its permanent collection of more than 8,000 works of art, the feature exhibition launching September 27 is Metamorphosis: The Art of Found Objects and Collage. Also running:

Totem Books' Poets & Writers Night is an open mic style event where you can share your beautiful poetry and prose! It's totally free to attend and you don't have to register ahead of time to perform. It happens every last Saturday of the month from 5-7pm, so come check it out sometime!
