I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Michigan's Industrial and Operations Engineering department where I am focusing on projects related to risk analysis, risk perception, and risk communication for transportation-related applications. I have experience in operations research, systems engineering, data analytics, manufacturing engineering, and supply chain.
I graduated from the University of Southern California in 2022 with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering. At USC, I earned departmental awards for Most Outstanding Undergraduate Research and Most Outstanding Senior Design Project. I was also a finalist in the INFORMS Undergraduate Research Competition in 2020.
I received my M.S. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2024. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan with plans to graduate in 2027.
I am doing research in Professor Seth Guikema's research group. In December 2023, I won the Student Research Award for the Foundations of Risk specialty group at the Society for Risk Analysis Annual Meeting. In 2024, I was awarded an NSF GRFP honorable mention award.
I served as a graduate student instructor for IOE 561- Intro to Risk Analysis during the Winter 2024 semester.
I have a cat named Ghost. She is very shy and sweet.
I play and coach ultimate frisbee. I played on the UM Men's Club team (MagnUM) in 2023 and captained the team in 2024. The team finished T-19th and T-9th in the country in those two years. I am now a coach for MagnUM. I also play for Ann Arbor Hybrid, a local mixed team. We finished 2nd in the country in 2023.
I love spending time outdoors camping and backpacking! I also love climbing and playing recreational sports!
