Job Title: Ph.D. Student in Digital Manufacturing

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ph.D. student. The Ph.D. student will have the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of faculty and students exploring a new cyber-physical manufacturing paradigm based on rapid optimization and knowledge-based digitalization. Requirements:

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field with a background in optimal control, parameter estimation, or reinforcement learning.

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++.

• Strong analytical skills.

• A good understanding of heat transfer and fluid dynamics is desirable.
