The AMPED program is a professional Master's degree (MEng) designed for engineers who want to make an impact in the medtech industry.

General Requirements

The University of Michigan uses a holistic approach to graduate admissions. The guidance below outlines some of the elements of the application that are considered when making admissions decisions.

Research and/or industry experience are not required for admission to the AMPED program, though they may enhance an applicant's suitability for the program.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering does not accept GRE scores from graduate applicants (i.e. the GRE is not required).

The University of Michigan is committed to a policy of equal opportunity for all persons and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, religion, height, weight, or veteran status in employment, educational programs and activities, and admissions.
