• Acquisition-- Purchased In Egypt by B.P. Grenfell and F.W. Kelsey in March-April 1920

• Author -- Aurelia Bellias daughter of Peteres

• Information -- 

• A Certificate, signed by two official witnesses proving that Aurelia Bellias contributed to a sacrifice to the traditional gods as ordered by Emperor Decius. 

• This document, and the action of sacrificing to the traditional gods, was proof of loyalty to the government. Any who refused, were persecuted.
