Why did you join BGSG? I joined BGSG to help create a stronger sense of community within PIBS and advocate for student needs. I wanted to contribute to improving resources, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that everyone has a voice in shaping our academic and professional experiences

Why did you join BGSG? I joined BGSG to make a positive impact on the student community, advocate for my peers in biomedical sciences, and make meaningful connections.

Why did you join BGSG? I joined BGSG to serve as a representative and advocate for the students in my program and to have the opportunity to work with other students who want to do the same for their programs and all graduate students, in general.

Why did you join BGSG? I enjoy being a BGSG member because I get to voice the concerns of my peers while informing them of valuable information they might miss otherwise. 

Fun Fact: On my free time I like to hike, play disc golf, and find new restaurants around Michigan.

Why did you join BGSG? I've been a member of BGSG since my 1st year in PIBS and have loved being involved! BGSG has developed a strong relationship with both graduate students and graduate program leadership to help make graduate student lives better, and I'm happy to have been a part of it over the past 4 years. 

Fun Fact: Outside of the lab/BGSG, I love movie nights with friends, reading, going to UM football games, and working on whatever craft project has my interest lately :).

Why did you join BGSG? I learned about BGSG during orientation and was impressed by its commitment to fostering inclusion and building a strong community. Ensuring that students have access to resources that enhance their educational experience is something I deeply value. As biomedical students, we encounter unique challenges, and being part of a supportive community is crucial for overcoming them. Joining BGSG provides me with the opportunity to contribute to this mission and make a positive impact on our student community.

Fun Fact: I have won over 20 radio contests including meet and greet passes and concert tickets.
