Through individual semi-structured interviews conducted over videoconference, we are learning how adolescent young adult (AYA) cancer patients and survivors aged 18-35 are experiencing and managing psychosocial challenges related to COVID-19 and cancer.
We will evaluate how AYA cancer patients and survivors have experienced changes in their communication with healthcare providers, how their communication with existing or potential support networks has changed, and how they have evaluated and employed information and resources related to COVID-19 from cancer support organizations.
