Sarah T. Hawley

Professor, University of Michigan Department of Internal Medicine

Dr. Hawley is a Professor of Medicine, Health Management and Policy and Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of Michigan, and a Research Investigator at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System’s HSR&D Center for Clinical Management Research (CCMR). Her research focuses on understanding and improving quality of patient centered cancer care across cancer types and across the continuum from prevention through survivorship. Dr. Hawley works with the Center for Health Communications Research, where she is co-director, to develop and implement tailored behavioral interventions to improve patient and family centered cancer care.
