Meiyan Chen

PCORI Project Coordinator, University of Michigan

Ms. Meiyan Chen is a graduate of the University of Michigan MSW program and currently serves as the research coordinator for AYA CaRES across multiple projects. For example, the PCORI project, Dr. Anao Zhang's Sojourns Scholar research program, and Drs. Zebrack and Zhang's recent pilot award. 

Meiyan has substantive research interests in social determinants of health, AYA cancer, survivorship outcomes, and evidence-based psychosocial support for young adults with cancer. As an AYA CaRES research coordinator, Meiyan supports various activities of the program, ranging from organizing participant recruitment to data analysis, among other responsibilities. 

Meiyan is currently applying for her doctorate to continue her academic pursuit.
