AYA MSW Field Student

Kamal is an MSW candidate at the University of Michigan and a Doctor of Behavioral Health candidate at Arizona State University. Throughout his Doctorate in Behavioral Health program at Arizona State University, he developed a passion for mental health, collaborating with providers to better treat the patient’s condition.

Kamal is specifically interested in psychosocial factors and their effect on adolescents and young adults during remission. He has a passion for integrated healthcare services and interdisciplinary rounds. He is interested in research among AYA and the impact of psychosocial background on their quality of life.
