My name is Alissa Rebagliati. I am a student and dancer currently based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. As I navigate my future, I value openness, positivity, and hard work. I take every opportunity that comes to me in the most positive light and am eager to keep learning. I’ve been dancing and exploring movement since a young age, but I have come a long way. Through all the years, I have learned that dance is my true passion. It allows me to freely express myself in a way I can't describe with words. It helps me to release and feel things in a way like no other and I value the ability to share this passion and art with others. I grew up dancing at a competition studio, but joined a more concert focussed dance company in high school. This company allowed me the opportunity to work with many amazing guest artists at a young age. Now training at the University of Michigan, I am grateful to continue working on both my technique and artistry. Training in ballet, modern, contemporary, improvisation, composition, partnering, and more has allowed me to feel confident in what I can bring to my dance career moving forward. While concert dance is my main interest, I am constantly looking for new opportunities to grow and expand my knowledge within dance, no matter the style. Dancing and performing professionally has always been a dream of mine and I look forward to what the future holds.
