Alexander Wirth
I will join Cornerstone Research as a Finance Associate in September 2024.
My research focuses on financial intermediation, household finance, and fintech. I study the influence of regulatory and informational frictions on household well-being and explore the role of intermediaries in helping households navigate these challenges.
I received a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Michigan in 2024. Before pursuing a Ph.D., I worked as a pricing actuary in health and disability insurance. I earned undergraduate degrees in Actuarial Science and Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
