Alex Tuft

My research interests lie in entrepreneurial finance, venture capital, and private equity. In my most recent paper, I investigate how limited partner investor bargaining power is related to investor-PE fund co-investment, and why fund managers co-invest. In another paper, my coauthor and I study how underwriting relationships drive VC returns, specifically through the VC firm's ability to take portfolio companies public.
