About
I am an aquatic geochemistry student at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor working with Dr. Rose Cory. I am interested in the processes that control carbon dioxide emissions in the Alaskan Arctic. I received my B.S. in Environmental Science from the City University of New York Macaulay Honors College at Queens College and completed a senior thesis entitled "Anthropogenic Effects on Sedimentation in the Harlem and East Rivers." I attended Francis Lewis High School and began competing in national and international science competitions at the age of 15. I graduated with my senior project entitled "Tracking Quaternary Sealevel with Corals and Molluscs: Cosmic Dose Rate Modeling and ESR Dating on San Salvador, Bahamas."
I grew up in New York City. I am a first-generation American and a first-generation college graduate.
