Disseminate educational resources to our graduate student body to educate our community on issues of social justice.
Advocate for changes to department policies that reflect our community's commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This shall be done through elected representatives that bring the ideas and concerns of the subcommittee to the department DEI committee meetings.
To hold ourselves accountable and show the progress that we are making, you can access our public Trello board with all our current actionables and achieved tasks.

The more of us in the department who commit to educating ourselves about the existing systematic issues, the more of us can help to make our department inclusive and welcoming.
