National Honor Society (NHS)  has over 80 members who participate in a variety of community service activities that make our world a better place one project at a time! The equivalent for junior high is National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), which collaborates with NHS in service projects.

Lighthouse Worship takes place every Friday morning.  Students gather to worship, pray, and be in fellowship. Our Lighthouse Worship leaders devote time to truly and authentically lead everyone in worship and bring people closer to Christ. Lighthouse also hosts an annual national student event called See You At The Pole. See You At The Pole is a time of prayer on the fourth Wednesday of September when students meet at their school (before school) to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. It is student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led. Come worship with us!

UME's Robotics Team has won Regional Qualifiers! They represent how resilient and intelligent all of us Eagles are. They recently started a new project "UME Print Farm."

Sandy Hook Promise is a national nonprofit organization founded and led by several family members whose loved ones were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012. Based in Newtown, Connecticut, their intent is to honor all victims of gun violence by turning their tragedy into a moment of transformation. By empowering youth to “know the signs” and uniting all people who value the protection of children, we can take meaningful actions in schools, homes, and communities to prevent gun violence and stop the tragic loss of life.
