Accommodations on Campus (Shared Student Dorms)
All participants can choose to enjoy overnight lodging on campus in a student suite in the South Hill Community. Suites contain three to five double-occupancy bedrooms with one or two shared bathrooms. Each suite includes a shared furnished living room. Laundry facilities are available centrally within the South Hill Community. Residents can also dine at their own expense in South Campus Dining Hall in the Community (and any other dinning halls on campus [Yahentamitsi is great!]). It is a 15-min walk to the conference and summer school venues. See some general information here.

Due to our proximity to Washington, D.C., there are a plethora of hotels within commuting distance to the University. Most of the hotels in College Park proper are along Route 1/Baltimore Avenue. Below are four of the closest hotels by distance to our venue. If you'd prefer to stay further out, nearby towns include Greenbelt, Hyattsville, Beltsville, and Adelphi. The University is located within 20 minutes of Washington, D.C.

The Hotel at The University of Maryland
The Hotel at The University of Maryland is right off Route 1, directly across from the University entrance and within easy access of restaurants. Parking is available for $16/day. The hotel is within one mile of the College Park Metro Station.
The Cambria Hotel College Park is a fifteen-minute walk from the conference venue. Parking is available for $12/day. The hotel is within one mile of the College Park Metro Station.
Best Western Plus - College Park
The Best Western Plus is situated within a 20-minute walk from our venue and is 1.5 miles from the College Park Metro Station. Parking is complimentary.
College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center
The College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center is located on the University of Maryland campus and within a 20-minute walk from the conference venue. Parking is complimentary; the College Park Metro Station is within 3 miles.
