Lily Dashiell

I am a senior here at UMD majoring in English. Im graduating this semester! I took this class not only to satisfy the credits I've needed but also because Professor Nelson has been amazing! Archival research has been something I never anticipated being interested in, but throughout this course I've become fascinated with the topic. This semester I've also been able to work with the Dickinson's Electronic Archive and it has been great to take both of these classes during the same semester since they tie in really well together.  Im very interested in creative writing especially poetry, being able to look into old poetry and miscellanies has been a great part of this class.
