Tran is a sophomore from Silver Spring, MD, studying pre-dental at the University of Maryland. Her interests include art in ways like drawing and creative writing because it's a way to relax while improving mental health. Healthcare is a top priority in today's society. Tran aspires to work as a dentist because she values stability and personal growth. This profession gives her a passion for working with people and providing patient care. Tran wants to expand and make a positive impact within the dental field. She wants to work with patients and be able to provide the care and support they need. She is fascinated by the precision and attention to detail required in dental procedures, drawing from past experiences.
As a College Park Arts Scholar, she intends to learn and research more about how artworks are created through different types of projects, especially in the Capstone project for this scholar program. She wants to become more involved in this community by taking advantage of the opportunity to learn and participate with peers. She looks forward to constantly learning, enhancing problem-solving skills, and adapting to new situations. The dental career gives opportunities for personal and professional growth, which she plans to complete after graduation.
