In July 2025, Dr. Willis was one of 13 SRCD members who traveled to Washington, D.C., for the first Child Policy Connect experience (pictured above). Child Policy Connect, part of SRCD's new Child Policy Hub, links SRCD members with the U.S. Congress to address urgent policy questions. During this event, SRCD members met with Republicans and Democrats in 19 offices across the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives to present evidence on child and adolescent mental health and address policy questions posed by the offices.
