The nearest place to stay is the Hotel at the University of Maryland, which is a 10 minute walk from the conference venue and has several restaurants (including a bagel place that makes espresso drinks) on its ground floor.

Please take note of your license plate number before entering the hotel. Hotel guests get discounted parking. Restaurant guests can get free parking with validation.  

There is no parking lot just at the conference venue (H.J. Patterson Hall or HJP), but there are two garages nearby: Union Lane Garage (5 minute walk) and Regents Garage  (10 minute walk). These are pay-to-park. (Anyone wishing to avoid campus traffic could use the pay-to-park lot the Hotel at the University of Maryland (10-15 minute walk.) 

Light snacks and coffee will be provided during the events (with light snacks and drinks at the receptions).

There is a great coffee at Vigilante Coffee (College Park location is 8200 Baltimore Avenue).

There is also a Trader Joe's about a half mile from campus and a Whole Foods another half mile past that.
